Javed Miandad cancels India visit: Sources
Former cricketer and Pakistan Cricket Board official Javed Miandad has cancelled his visit to India for the final ODI to be played here on Sunday, according to sources.

Former cricketer and Pakistan Cricket Board official Javed Miandad has cancelled his visit to India for the final ODI to be played here on Sunday, according to sources.
The government of India had been at the receiving end of criticisms after it granted a visa to Miandad with leaders from BJP and Shiv Sena citing his alleged ties with underworld don Dawood Ibrahim. Miandad's son is marries to Dawood's daughter.
Although the Indian government had defended its decision with the External Affairs Ministry saying that he is a well known cricketer who had his papers in place, Miandad though had reportedly backed out of his scheduled visit. He was slated to arrive in New Delhi on Saturday.
