French Open 2022, Semi-Finals Highlights: Rafael Nadal advanced to his 14th French Open final after his opponent Alexander Zverev pulled out of the clash due to an injury. Zverev injured his ankle while trying to make a return in the second set. Unfortunately, Zverev couldn't continue any further and had to pull out of the semi final tie. Zverev was seen writhing in pain, before being carried off the court on a wheelchair. He later returned on crutches to shake hands with the umpire, give Nadal a hug and then wave goodbye to the fans. Earlier, Nadal came back from 2-4 down to take the first set 7-6 (10/8) after the tie breaker. However, Nadal broke back Zverev before the first went into a tie-break. Both players cancelled out each other in the tie-break but it was Nadal who eventually went 1-0 up. Later today, eighth-seed Casper Ruud will take on Marin Cilic in the other semi final.
