French Open 2022 Final, Highlights: Rafael Nadal on Sunday won a record-extending 22nd Grand Slam title after beating Casper Ruud in the final of French Open men's singles event at the Court Philipp-Chatrier. Nadal continued his unbeaten run in finals at Roland Garros, defeating Ruud 6-3, 6-3, 6-0 to clinch his record-extending 14th French Open title. Nadal also became the oldest player to win the French Open. Despite being broken early on his second serve, Nadal responded with two breaks of his own before sealing the second set 6-3. Earlier, Nadal won the first set 6-3 after breaking Ruud's serve twice. The Norwegian did manage to break back Nadal once but his poor first serve percentage saw him come out as the second best.
