Real Madrid defender Marcelo returns from injury

Real Madrid defender Marcelo has made the squad for Saturday's Spanish league game at Osasuna after recovering from an injury that had sidelined him since October 20.

Real Madrid defender Marcelo has made the squad for Saturday's Spanish league game at Osasuna after recovering from an injury that had sidelined him since October 20.

Marcelo hasn't played since breaking a bone in his right foot in a training session with the Brazil national team.

Madrid also has fellow defender Fabio Coentrao back from injury to help fill in the holes left it the center of its back line by the suspension of Sergio Ramos and the injury to Pepe.

Madrid is in third place, 16 points behind leader Barcelona.
