Almeida's innings after Mumbai won the toss was one to behold. He smashes boundaries and sixes at will and threw caution to the wind.

He had lost his opening partner by the fifth over but Almeida single-handedly seized the initiative back from APS University.

His century was enhanced by as many as 12 boundaries and 6 sixes. Almeida was also supported well by Shashank Singh.

Shashank hit 60 off 37 and his innings too was furious in intent.

The two took Mumbai to a record score of 224/4.
