Shane Watson scored a sensational century as Australia beat England by 49 runs in the 5th and final ODI at Southampton. Australia claimed the series 2-1 to end a miserable summer in England on a high.

Watson (143) and Michael Clarke (75) put on 163 runs for the 4th wicket as Australia were bowled out for 298. Ben Stokes finished with 5/61, doing his Ashes chances no harm whatsoever.
