Cricketer Manoj Tiwary marries long-term girlfriend

Bengal and India batsman Manoj Tiwary tied the knot with his girlfriend on July 18.

The player is currently sidelined with a knee injury that is expected to keep him out of competitive cricket for nearly four months.

He however looked as happy on his wedding day, if not more, as he was when he slammed his solitary ODI century.

Tiwary spoke about his relationship openly for the first time last year. The batsman reportedly met Sushmita about six years ago through a common friend.

On the cricket pitch, Tiwary has played 8 ODIs and 3 T20Is for India.

In the IPL, he plays for Kolkata Knight Riders.

He averages a little over 35 in ODIs and has a healthy strike rate of 77.46.
