5th Test: Australia Thrash India, Seal BGT Title, WTC Final Berth

India lost the Border-Gavaskar Trophy after 10 years with a six-wicket loss to Australia on Day 3 of the fifth and final Test in Sydney.

Australia chased down the 162-run target in 27 overs with Travis Head (34*) and Beau Webster (39*) taking the team home.

For India, Prasidh Krishna scalped three wickets and Mohammed Siraj took one wicket each after Jasprit Bumrah did not take field due to injury.

Resuming day three at 141/6, India lost their remaining four wickets for 16 runs to be all out for 157 in their second innings.
