Welcome back for Pakistan's second innings. Bangladesh are seen in a huddle near the ropes before striding out to the centre. It will be the left-hand right-hand combination of Saim Ayub and Abdullah Shafique to open the innings for Pakistan. Taskin Ahmed has the red cherry in hand and he is raring to go. Off we go...

... THIRD INNINGS ...

!
Right then, it’s even Stevens in the Test, with around 20 minutes of play remaining in the day. Pakistan will be hoping to get through this period unscathed, while Bangladesh will be looking to put the openers, who have been fielding all day, under pressure and take a wicket or two before the close of play. Back in a bit for Pakistan's reply.

An excellent recovery from Bangladesh! Who would have thought they would reach 262 after they were reeling at 26/6 in the morning, conceding a lead of only 12 runs? Initially, it was the pair of Litton Das and Mehidy Hasan who added up 165 runs for the 7th wicket. Mehidy got out on 78 and Litton batted on along with the tail. He found an able alley in Hasan Mahmud who did his bit at the other end with Litton trying to face as many balls as he could. Litton continued his impressive innings after bringing up his 4th Test century, and it even seemed like Bangladesh might erase the entire deficit. However, with an eye on resting the pacers ahead of the second new ball, Agha Salman was introduced and he ended up quickly wrapping up the innings.

OUT! LBW! Pakistan close out the Bangladesh innings with a narrow lead of 12 runs! An appeal for LBW and the finger is raised! Nahid Rana sends it upstairs! Floats the ball up on the off stump and gets it to turn just a little bit. Rana doesn't offer any shot to it, wearing it straight on the front pad in front of the stumps. The Ball Tracking shows the ball to be clipping the leg stump and it is umpire's call. The on-field decision is upheld. Bangladesh are bundled out for 262 runs.

OUT! CAUGHT! Saim Ayub grabs a very well-judged catch to end a brilliant innings from the lone warrior of Bangladesh, Litton Das! Agha Salman fires the ball into the pitch as he sees Litton Das stepping down the track for a big shot. Litton Das gets this one off the the toe end, a rare sight in this innings from him and it goes flat and low to the right of long on. Saim Ayub at long on makes a good sprint to his right and dives, grabbing the ball with both hands inches above the ground. A much-needed breakthrough for Pakistan. End of a marathon innings from Litton Das as he falls for 138 with Bangladesh trailing by 12 runs.
