New Zealand vs England, 2nd Test Day 3 Highlights: Resuming the day at 138 for 7, the Blackcaps were bundled out for 209 runs, 226-run short of England's first innings total. Stuart Broad returned a four-wicket haul, while James Anderson and Jack Leach claimed three wickets apiece. England forced New Zealand to follow on and reduced them to 202 for 3 before the stumps was called. Kane Wiliamson and Henry Nicholls will resume at their respective scores of 25 and 18 on Day 4. Earlier, England had declared their first innings at 435 for 8.

For the visitors it was Jack Leach who proved the most lethal as he scalped 5 wickets and was well helped by Robinson, Broad, Root and Brook who scalped a wicket each. Finally the New Zealand inning comes to an end as they manage to score 483 runs in their second innings. The target set for the visitors to win the series is 258 runs. After being forced a follow on the hosts did tremendous as they managed to score at a good pace. The kiwis avoided a shameful defeat as they managed to walk past the trail and put up a batting display of the highest order against a tired looking English bowling. Kanw williamson was the standout performer as he played the perfect anchorWilliamson the free scoring Mitchell and Blundell and in the meantime managed to score his century as well.
