About Nehru Stadium, Pune
Headquarters of Maharashtra Cricket Association it was formerly known as Club of Maharashtra. Established in 1969 it can seat a capacity of 25000. The first ODI played here was between India and England on December 5, 1984. But the Nehru Stadium will always be remembered for staging one of the biggest upsets in one-day cricket history when Kenya, the minnows, knocked off heavyweights West Indies in the World Cup league game in 1996 in a low-scoring thriller.
