The Madras pair put on 162 for the 4th wicket as their team scored a huge total of 345/5 in 40 overs. Left arm spinner Vishal Chaudhary took 2 wickets in 10 overs and Wasim also took 2 wickets for 46 runs.
In reply, Ram Pal Cricket Academy fought valiantly, scoring 243 all-out in 34 overs. Sachin Chichi batted well and scored 115 runs with the help of 13 boundaries and 5 sixes in 65 balls.
Madras' left arm medium fast bowler Sunil Dagar took 4 wickets for 67 runs, and left arm spinner Varun sood took 3 wickets for 36 runs in 10 overs.
The winners, Madras Cricket Club, will now meet TEDDCO on May 28.
Earlier, the tournament was inaugurated by Mr. Surinder Pal Singh Bitto (MLA, Timarpur). Mr. Anil Jain (Jt. Sports Secy, DDCA) and Mr. B.M. Goswami were also present in the ceremony.
Sood was named the Man of the Match for his fine all-round performance.
