Pakistan just were not at their best with the ball and in the field! There were quite a few chances that went abegging and even with the ball, the lines and lengths were not upto the mark. They lacked the energy too in the field. Shah was outstanding yet again but the rest were good in patches. That last over from Wasim though can really lift Pakistan's spirits. If momentum is a thing, it is with them at the moment but now it is onto their batters. The wicket is a little slow and Pakistan will have to bat really well if they are to chase this down. Bangladesh on the other hand, have a good bowling attack. Can they defend this and end their tournament on a high?

A really good effort from Bangladesh! Yes, they will feel they have left a few more runs out there but they have got themselves to a good total. The start though was not the best as they lost two in the Powerplay but Das and Shakib batted brilliantly. They added over 80 in no time with both scoring fifties. When they were batting. 180 seemed likely. However, apart from the two, the others really struggled to time the ball and none of them could get going. Still though, Bangladesh have got themselves to a competitive score.

19.62Mohammad Wasim to Nurul Hasan
Two to end but that is a brilliant final over from Wasim! Just the three from it! On middle, a low full toss, this is hit wide of deep mid-wicket for two. BANGLADESH END WITH 173!
-
19.51Mohammad Wasim to Mohammad Saifuddin
Brilliant from Wasim again! A yorker now on middle, this is jammed down to long off for one.
-
19.4WMohammad Wasim to Nurul Hasan
OUT! RUN OUT! This is a brilliant last over so far! 4 balls done and still no runs from it! This is short and outside off, Nurul Hasan looks to cut but chops it to the keeper. Afif Hossain wants a run to take strike but Rizwan picks it up and hits the stumps at his end.
-
19.30Mohammad Wasim to Nurul Hasan
Outstanding from Wasim! A yorker on off, this is jammed out back to the bowler.
-
19.20Mohammad Wasim to Nurul Hasan
A dot now! Shorter and outside off, Hasan leaves it alone thinking it would be a wide but not given. Probably gets away with one there.
-
19.1WMohammad Wasim to
OUT! TAKEN! Straight to the fielder! The big-hitter, Yasir Ali walks back! Shorter and on middle, this is thumped down towards long on. Nawaz takes an easy catch. Not the start Bangladesh would have wanted for the last over but just the kind of start Pakistan needed.
-
18.62Naseem Shah to Afif Hossain
Two to end! Shorter and on middle, Afif Hossain pulls it towards deep square leg and takes two. 9 from the over but the big wicket of Shakib. 10 needed to get to 180. Can they do it?
-
18.51Naseem Shah to
A slower one, Yasir pulls it towards short fine leg for one. A little to the left of the right and it would have been a boundary. Shah gets away with one.
-
18.4WNaseem Shah to Shakib Al Hasan
OUT! TAKEN! That had the height but not the distance! A very good catch by Shadab Khan! On middle, a slower one, a back of the hand slower one. Shakib looks to heave it on the leg side but does not get the connection he would have wanted. It goes high up in the air towards deep mid-wicket. Shadab takes a good catch. End of a top knock from Shakib. He though would have loved to stay there till the end. Can Pakistan keep it below 180 now?
-
18.31Naseem Shah to Afif Hossain
Just the one this time! Shorter and on middle, this is pulled through square leg for one.
-
18.31 wdNaseem Shah to Afif Hossain
WIDE! This is way too short and outside off. Left alone. Wided.
-
18.24Naseem Shah to Afif Hossain
FOUR! Not the best of deliveries! On the pads, a full toss, Shah looks for the yorker but does not get it right. It is worked through square leg and it races away to the fence.
-
18.10Naseem Shah to Afif Hossain
A good start to the over! A slower short ball outside off, stays low. Afif Hossain looks to pull but misses.
-
17.60Mohammad Hasnain to Shakib Al Hasan
A dot to end! Still though, 9 from the over despite three dots in the over! This is shortish and around off, Shakib guides it towards point. He wanted a run but is sent back.
-
17.54Mohammad Hasnain to Shakib Al Hasan
FOUR! Excellent placement again! A slower one, on the body, Shakib Al Hasan pulls it behind square on the leg side and this races away to the fence.
-
17.40Mohammad Hasnain to Shakib Al Hasan
A dot! Shorter and on middle, Shakib looks to flat-bat it but it goes off the underedge to mid on.
