What a fantastic match of cricket this is turning out to be as South Africa have managed to bundle out the hosts for 218. The Aussies walk away with a handy lead of 66 runs. The Proteas would be really happy with the way they came back in this match. Australia started positively with the blade on Day 2 with Cameron Green joining the set batter Travis Head in the middle. Although, their happiness was cut short when Marco Jansen got rid of both batters in a single over. Later, Mitchell Starc and Alex Carey added some crucial runs to the tally but the South African seamers made sure to get rid of the tail as soon as possible without causing much damage. South Africa now will be coming out with an intent to build a huge mountain for the Aussies to climb. There is still a lot of time left in this Test match but the way the pitch is playing, this game can be concluded well before the scheduled time. Kagiso Rabada bowls this on a good length and just outside off. Nathan Lyon looks to play this leg side but gets a leading edge that lobs up over the bowler's head. Rassie van der Dussen is at mid off and he runs to his right before sliding and taking a lovely catch. Australia would have loved to increase their lead a bit more but any advantage on this pitch will be massively useful.

This is on a good length and outside the off stump. Nathan Lyon is looking to play his shots and gets beaten on the outside edge.

Kagiso Rabada goes a touch fuller this time and Pat Cummins looks to swing across the line of the ball. He mishits the ball and it goes high towards mid-wicket. Anrich Nortje takes a comfortable catch and Australia lose their ninth wicket. This dismissal is the result of the short balls earlier in the over.

OUT! CAUGHT AND BOWLED! That is a wonderful catch by Lungi Ngidi on his follow-through! He bowls this one on a good length and in line with the stumps. Mitchell Starc looks to punch this straight but the ball seems to have got stuck in the pitch a bit. It lobs towards the bowler who has to go really low to take the catch inches off the ground. The bowling change works once again and Australia lose their eighth wicket. Pat Cummins walks out to the middle.
