Poland's Pawel Fajdek retained the men's hammer throw title at the world championships in Beijing on Sunday.
Fadjek, who came into the competition on the back of 15 successive victories, managed a best of 80.88 metres for gold at the Bird's Nest stadium.
Tajikstan's Dilshod Nazarov claimed silver with 78.55m, narrowly edging Poland's Wojciech Nowicki (78.55) into the bronze by the finest of margins.
