Umpires for the World T20 finals named

Simon Taufel and Aleem Dar would be officiating in the World T20 final between West Indies and hosts Sri Lanka in Colombo on Sunday.

Simon Taufel and Aleem Dar would be officiating in the World T20 final between West Indies and hosts Sri Lanka in Colombo on Sunday.

While Rod Tucker will be the thrid umpire, Ian Gould and Jeff Crowe are the fourth umpire and match referee respectively.

The women's final, to be played between Australia and England earlier in the day at the R Premadasa stadium itself, will be officiated by Billy Bowden and Marais Erasmus, along with Tony Hill and Nigel Llong as the third and fourth umpire respectively. Graeme La brooy will be the match referee.

This will Simon Taufel's last match as an umpire, after which he moves on to head the newly formed bench that would train umpires.
