Gambhir-Kohli spat provokes Sreesanth Twitter rant, pacer deletes tweets later
Kerala pacer feels the incident between Gautam Gambhir and Virat Kohli at the Chinnaswamy Stadium on Thursday night has no relationship with the slapgate incident five years ago. Sreesanth also deleted the tweets later but not before giving some advice to Bhajji.

Former Indian pacer Sreesanth is unhappy that Thursday night's on-field spat between Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir is being compared with the "slapgate" episode where he was slapped by Harbhajan Singh during an IPL match five years ago.
Sreesanth has chosen Twitter to express his "disgust" saying he was "not at fault" when Harbhajan slapped the Kerala pacer during a match between Mumbai Indians and King's XI Punjab on April 25, 2008. (Related read: When Bhajji slapped Sreesanth)
Sreesanth later chose to delete the tweets but had some advice for Harbhajan. He tweeted: "I don't want Bhajji to feel bad now..I need to tell the truth to the world..wht happend was bad..it's not my fault at all..and all media ???"
"It was just my feeling which I shared..I hve nothing more to say..thnks a lot..love always," was Sreesanth's 'last' tweet on the issue.
Now a Rajasthan Royals team member, Sreesanth feels comparing slapgate with the Chinnaswamy row on Thursday night was unfair. (See in Pics)
Earlier in the day, Sreesanth wrote on Twitter, "Jst read times of india sports page headlines..very very disappointing...yesterday s incident with Gautam Bhai Nd virat ..was compared ??? To me Nd Bhajji pa??really Nd written again about slap gate????enough of this s#%^t..Stop it.. I can't keep silent Anymore." (sic)
"(Bhajji Never Slapped me...all I did is play the game the way I had all my life.he lost it badly ..being the captain of MUMBAI he Lost it. He had no control over his anger..,Nd one more thing I wanna clear..he (nanavati sir ) knows the truth and the full ipl..he had lost it," he said. (sic)
"Every one blaming me Nd always writing and talking about slap gate??it really s**#s.the truth is in the video ..which is with ipl.. I want the world to c it..Whn I went to shake hands after the match..he had lost it..he had already planned to hit me(elbow me)all his anger," he wrote.
Meanwhile, the entire Rajasthan team has reached Jaipur for their next home game against Kings XI Punjab on Sunday. However, skipper Rahul Dravid and S Sreesanth were not part of the team that landed in Jaipur.
In a series of tweets, the temperamental Kerala pacer said: "It's just tht ..it's sad to c .the media still talking about it..really feels bad..slap,thappad,,,???really..it's not wht u all know."
On that eventful April evening, Sreesanth was allegedly sledging against the Mumbai batsmen, leading to an angry outburst from Harbhajan, then the Mumbai skipper.
Sreesanth's antics were noticed by umpires Ameesh Saheba and Aleem Dar. The umpires complained to team captain Yuvraj Singh against the sledging. Harbhajan was later banned for slapping Sreesanth.
In a string of tweets, Sreesanth says: "I was asked to say tht ..it was my fault too..I was asked ..that's the truth ...it was never my fault..it's sad.really sad...
"I ve moved on but whn I keep reading all this bull###*itreallu hurts..it really does..but that's enough..anyways thnks to the media
"All this 5..6 years ..I was quite..not anymore..thr is much more thn wht u all even know..that's it"
Also Lalit Lodi, who was the commissioner of the IPL during 'slapgate' has had his say on Sreesanth's tweetathon.

The truth is incident took place. Bhaji did slap Sreesanth -without any provocation. Inquiry was held. Bhaji was banned for the whole season
