For the World number 1 Victoria Azarenka or popularly known as Vika, the passage into the US Open round 4 was amazingly smooth. She beat Chinese Jie Zheng 6-0, 6-1 to advance.

The moment of the day though, surely belonged to Kim Clijsters and her mixed-doubles partner Bob Bryan of the United States. For Kim, it was something to rejoice as this is her last Grand Slam and she has already been knocked out of the singles event.
