FIFA World Cup: Nelly, the fortune-telling Elephant

Nelly, an elephant from the locales of the Serengeti Park comes with abilities similar to Paul, the octopus who predicted Germany's fate in the last World Cup.(All images credit AFP)

After Paul the Octopus became a huge hit in the Euro 2008 and FIFA World Cup 2010 with his uncanny predictions, Nelly the Elephant with the ability to predict football scores will be the 'star' to watch out for in the upcoming FIFA World Cup.

Nelly' the elephant is no rookie! After predicting 30 of 33 results correctly from the women's FIFA World Cup in 2006, the men's FIFA World Cup in 2010 and the Euro 2012, Nelly seems to be nothing short of a football 'pundit.'

Nelly also has to her credit, the correct prediction of the UEFA Champions League winner as Bayern Munich over local rivals Borrussia Dortmund in 2013.

To add to her credibility, Nelly has a former Germany national goalkeeper, Sepp Maier, taking her side in her predictions.
