Saketh Myneni Knocks Ramkumar Ramanathan Out of Australian Open Qualifiers
Saketh Myneni eased past Ramkumar Ramanathan 6-4, 6-1 in the opening round of the Australian Open qualifying event in Melbourne.

Saketh Myneni moved to the second round of the Australian Open qualifying event with an easy win over compatriot Ramkumar Ramanathan while Somdev Devvarman fell at the first hurdle in Melbourne.
Myneni eased past Ramkumar 6-4, 6-1 in the opening round in just 66 minutes.
Ramkumar, who created ripples at the Chennai Open by beating two-higher-ranked players en route to quarterfinals, squandered three break chances in the second set.
Myneni, who was very consistent in 2015 season, broke Ramkumar once in the opening set and thrice in the second to seal the issue in his favour.
He will next face Italian Lorenzo Giustino, who is ranked 261st as against Myneni's 168.
Meanwhile, Somdev's forgettable run continued with his 6-2, 1-6, 4-6 defeat to Estonia's Jurgen Zopp, ranked 164th.
India's Yuki Bhambri has got a direct entry into the singles main draw, courtesy his place inside top-100.
