IPL stats: Suresh Raina scores 16th fifty in IPL

Raina, thanks to his 16th fifty, has completed 2500 runs at the IPL - 2513 at an average of 33.50 in 91 matches - the first batsman to achieve the feat.

Chennai became the first team to win eight matches (out of ten) at the IPL 2013.

Chennai have won four and lost two out of six played against Pune at the IPL - winning per cent 66.66.

Chennai's tally of 55 wins out of 91 matches is the highest by any team at the IPL (lost 34, Tied 1 & NR 1) - winning per cent 61.66.

Chennai, for the first time, have won six consecutive games at the IPL between April 18 and April 30, 2013, surpassing their previous sequence of five wins in-a-row between April 30, 2009 and May 9, 2009.

Pune Warriors became the first team to lose eight games (out of ten) played at the IPL 2013.

Chennai (164/3) have emulated their highest total against Pune at the IPL. They had scored 164 for five at Chepauk on April 19, 2012.

Suresh Raina (63 not out off 50 balls) has recorded his highest score at the IPL 2013 - his second fifty. His first fifty in the present competition was 51 off 35 balls against Rajasthan Royals at Chennai on April 22.

Raina has emulated the highest individual score by a Chennai player against Pune at the IPL. Badrinath had scored 63 not out at Mumbai (DYP) on April 27, 2011.

Playing in his second game, Kane Richardson took Michael Hussey's wicket, his first wicket at the IPL - the 500th of the IPL 2013.

Michael Hussey has managed 450 runs at an average of 64.28 in nine matches - the second highest tally after Chris Gayle's 484 at an average of 80.66 in ten matches.

Badrinath's 34 off 31 balls is his highest score in five innings at the IPL 2013.

Badrinath has managed 199 runs at an average of 66.33 in five innings (twice not out), including two fifties - the highest by a Chennai batsman against Pune Warriors at the IPL.

Suresh Raina and Badrinath were involved in a stand of 75 - Chennai's highest third wicket partnership against Pune, surpassing the 65 (unbroken) between the same pair at Mumbai (DYP) on April 27, 2011.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni is averaging 49.66 at the IPL - his tally being 298 runs in nine innings, including two fifties.

Dhoni's strike rate of 281.25 (45 not out off 16 balls) is the highest by any batsman at the IPL 2013 (minimum 40 runs).

Dhoni and Raina were involved in a stand of 61 (unbroken)- Chennai's highest for the fourth wicket against Pune at the IPL. Dhoni and Jadeja had also added 61 for the fourth wicket at Pune on April 14, 2012.

Aaron Finch has managed 281 runs at an average of 35.12 in eight matches - the highest tally by a Pune batsman at the IPL 2013. Robin Uthappa has the next best tally - 214 at an average of 21.40 in ten matches.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni is the first wicketkeeper to effect ten dismissals at the IPL 2013 - eight catches and two stumpings in ten games.

Dhoni has received his ninth Man of the Match award at the IPL - his second at the IPL 2013.

Yuvraj Singh has continued his super flop show at the IPL 2013, aggregating 140 in seven innings at an average of 23.33. His last fifty at the IPL was scored two years ago on April 27, 2011 - 62 not out off 43 balls for Pune vs Chennai at Mumbai (DYP).

Mohit Sharma (3/21) has produced his second best bowling performance at the IPL, next only to the 3 for 10 against Delhi Daredevils at Delhi on April 18, 2013.

Three batsmen got run out in Pune's innings - the second instance at the IPL 2013 - the first instance being in Mumbai Indians' innings of 194 for seven against Bangalore at Wankhede Stadium on April 27.

Steven Smith is averaging 51.66 - 155 in six innings, three times not out. His average is the highest for Pune Warriors at the IPL 2013.

Smith (517 at an average of 43.08 in 21 matches) has become the third Pune batsman to complete 500 runs at the IPL, joining Robin Uthappa (883) and Jesse Ryder (548).

Suresh Raina, with 46 catches, has established a record for most catches at the IPL, bettering Rohit Sharma's 43.

Dwayne Bravo took his tally to 16 wickets at an average of 18.00 in ten matches - the second best next only to James Faulkner's 16 at 10.37 in seven matches.
