Boxers Pinki Rani, S. Sarjubala Devi Register Wins at World Championships
While Pinki Rani beat Si Haijuan of China in the 51kg category, S. Sarjubala Devi defeated German Jesus Sousa Grazieli 40-37 in the 48kg competition. M. Meena Kumari defeated Gebremedihin Felekech Seifu of Ethopia 40-33 in the 54kg event.

Indian boxers Pinki Rani, S. Sarjubala Devi and M. Meena Kumari registered contrasting wins in the preliminary round matches of the International Boxing Association (AIBA) Women's World Championships here on Tuesday.
While Pinki beat Si Haijuan of China in the 51kg category, Sarjubala defeated German Jesus Sousa Grazieli 40-37 in the 48kg competition. Meena defeated Gebremedihin Felekech Seifu of Ethopia 40-33 in the 54kg event.
However, Priyanka Choudhary (61kg) lost to Yinjunhua of China and Neetu (69kg) lost to Bylon Atheyna of Panama in their opening bouts.
Pinki will meet Sagataeva Saiana of Russia while Suan Monica (75kg) will face Li Qian of China on Wednesday. Saweety (81kg) will meet Koelemeij Mavine of the Netherlands.
