Serena beats Vinci at Wimbledon
Serena Williams has advanced to the fourth round at Wimbledon by beating Roberta Vinci of Italy 6-3, 6-4.

Williams is bidding for her third Wimbledon title and her first since 2003. She hit 10 aces on Friday, including one on match point, and committed only 12 unforced errors.
Williams won for the 172nd time in 200 Grand Slam matches. The only other woman to play so many matches in major tournaments is her sister, five-time Wimbledon champion Venus Williams (219).
Seeded second, Williams became the first player to earn a spot in the second week of the tournament.
