McLaren's Jenson Button has described his car for the ongoing season as the worst since he joined the team, three years ago.
In a report published in UK's Guardian, the 32-year-old has been quoted as saying that the car has not suited him like the previous versions had. "This car hasn't suited me as well as McLaren's last two. Since I've been here this has been the worst year. It's been tricky, even on good weekends. We've had a problem pretty much every weekend, lately. We need to stop it. I don't get it," he said.
Button was racing third in last weekend's Abu Dhabi GP before being overtaken by Sebastian Vettel in his Red Bull. In the same report, Button said that the qualifier and race were not as good as the opening sessions at the Yas Marina. "The weekend was weird. Friday was good, Saturday morning was good but qualifying and the race wasn't amazing. It wasn't horrendous but it wasn't amazing," he said adding that he hoped the issues would be sorted by the start of the next season.
Teammate Lewis Hamilton will be racing for Mercedes GP in 2013 while Button will have Sergio Perez as his new partner in the McLaren camp.
