Bangladesh cricket is on the rise. Once considered the minnows of cricket, the sub-continental team has taken some rapid strides towards more respectability. Series wins at home against New Zealand and Zimbabwe gave them the shot in the arm they needed, especially before the World Cup Down Under earlier this year. Not many would have given them a chance of going past the league stages but the team made it to the quarters nonetheless .
