New Delhi:

Sri Lanka skipper Kumar Sangakkara may replace Yuvraj Singh as the captain of Kings XI Punjab as the Chandigarh southpaw has been sacked by the management, according to the sources.

Apparently coach Tom Moody had complained to the owners of the franchise about Yuvraj's attitude problem, saying he continually ignored the team managemnet's advice.

According to sources, the team mangement is thinking of replacing Yuvraj with Kumar Sangakkara.

Yuvraj led Kings XI Punjab in the first two editions of the IPL. While Kings XI reached the semi-finals in the first season, they finished fifth in the table in the second edition.
