0.1 OUT! CAUGHT! Extended nets session, is it? Because it is a catching practice for ermmm... who is that? My dear - Jasprit Bumrah at point? Indeed it is! It is a very soft dismissal. Fractionally short of length, outside off, this one goes the other way. Saim Ayub pushes at it away from his body and gives a straightforward catch to Bumrah at that position. Really surprising choice of a shot from Ayub and even more surprising to see Bumrah at that position. Ideally, Ayub should have gone hard but maybe, cautiousness got the better of him. Ayub departs for a golden duck and Pakistan are 1/1 after 0.1 overs! 1/1

16.1 OUT! CAUGHT! GONE! Sahibzada Farhan, the opener who was playing from the first over, perishes now. Kuldeep flights it up, full and a bit outside off, Sahibzada Farhan gets down on one knee and looks to take on the bowler as the pressure is growing on him. However, he mistimes his big lofted shot downtown towards long on. Hardik Pandya runs across to his left, judges the catch well, and takes it over his head. Sahibzada Farhan departs for 40 but off 44 deliveries. Pakistan are 83/7 down now and Kuldeep has his third. 83/7

| Mohammad Haris Wk | 3 | 5 | 0 | 0 | 60 |

1.2 OUT! CAUGHT! Second wicket goes down as well! A very good short ball, outside off, coming in with the angle of over the wicket. Mohammad Haris goes instinctively for the pull but there is extra bounce on that ball and that does him in. Gets it off the top half of the bat and the ball goes high in the air, but only as far as deep square leg. The man in the circle runs back while Hardik Pandya comes running in from the deep. Hardik makes a clear call for the catch and takes it calmly. Haris departs for 3 (5) and Pakistan are 6/2 after 1.2 overs! 6/2

| Fakhar Zaman | 17 | 15 | 3 | 0 | 113.33 |
|
7.4 OUT! CAUGHT! The 39-run stand has been broken by Axar. The left-arm spinner comes from around the wicket but perhaps sees Fakhar Zaman jump out of his crease a touch early. That much is enough for the experienced spinner. Just shortens his length a fraction and Fakhar, already through his shot of going big down the ground, gets a bit too close to the ball. As a result, he skies this up in the air, getting a lot of height, but not enough distance. It goes towards long on where two fielders converge - long off to his left and long on to his right. Eventually, Tilak Varma takes a good running catch to his right at long on. Zaman departs for 17 (15) and Pakistan are now 45/3 after 7.4 overs! 45/3

| Salman Agha C | 3 | 12 | 0 | 0 | 25 |

10 OUT! CAUGHT! Wicket number 2 for Axar and the Indians are back in control. Slower through the air, full outside off, Salman Agha reaches out to play the slog sweep but is unable to adjust to the pace off the pitch. Gets a top edge which goes towards deep mid-wicket. Simple catch for Abhishek Sharma. Agha departs for 3 (12) and from 45/2, Pakistan are now 49/4! 49/4

12.4 OUT! TAKEN! Gone on the next ball! Kuldeep slows it up and pitches it full and around off, Hasan Nawaz sits down on one knee and looks to take on the bowler. He tries to slog sweep it across the line but only manages to get a top edge that flies high miles in the air beside the strip on the off side. Axar Patel calls for the catch from first slip and takes it, running to his left. Hasan Nawaz departs for 5 (7) and Pakistan are 64/5. 64/5

12.5 OUT! LBW! However, Mohammad Nawaz has reviewed it. A bit shorter and a googly, around middle and leg. Mohammad Nawaz presses back and looks to tuck it into the leg side, but plays all over it. Gets beaten on the inside edge, and the ball thuds onto the front pad. A huge appeal goes up for LBW from the bowler and the keeper and the umpire raises his finger. The third umpire is called in and there is nothing on the UltraEdge. The Ball Tracking presents three reds and Pakistan lose a review and Mohammad Nawaz. Indians are overjoyed and Kuldeep Yadav will be on the hat trick on the next ball. Pakistan are 64/6! 64/6

17.4 OUT! LBW! TRAPPED IN FRONT! However, Faheem Ashraf has reviewed it straightaway! Very full from around the wicket, around middle, Faheem Ashraf gets down on one knee, changes his stance, and looks to reverse-sweep it but misses. The ball sneaks past under the bat and gets rapped low on the front pad. A huge appeal for LBW goes up from the bowler and the keeper, and the umpire has obliged. The third umpire is called in, and there is nothing on the UltraEdge. The Ball Tracking presents three reds as the ball is projected to smash into the leg stump. Faheem Ashraf walks back for 11 (14) and Pakistan lose a review. The innings of Pakistan hasn't gone anywhere, and they are on the verge of getting bundled out. 97/8

19 OUT! KNOCKED HIM OVER! After conceding two back-to-back boundaries followed by a No Ball, Bumrah has made a brilliant comeback in the rest of the deliveries! He gets his second. Spots Muqeem shuffling far across the off stump line, and trying to play the scoop shot, Jasprit Bumrah fires in a laser-straight yorker, on the stumps. The ball beats the inside edge and shatters the stumps. Sufiyan Muqeem departs for 10 (6) and Pakistan are 111/9. 111/9

3.4 OUT! IN THE AIR AND GONE! CAUGHT! An absolutely needless shot from Abhishek and Ayub has his second. Spots Sharma dancing down the track, and Saim smartly drags the length back, and flattens the trajectory, giving very little space for the southpaw to work with. Abhishek Sharma dances down and mistimes it in the air, towards long off. Faheem Ashraf swallows a simple catch in the deep. Abhishek Sharma departs for a quickfire 31 off just 13 balls, and India are 41/2, needing another 87 runs. 41/2

2 OUT! STUMPED! Brilliant execution by Ayub and Pakistan have their first! Carrom ball from Ayub, on a length, just around off and spinning away off the deck. Shubman Gill yet again takes a big stride down the track and tries to push it away, but does not account for the ball turning away from him. Hence, he is beaten all ends up on the outside edge, and the ball is collected by Mohammad Haris behind the stumps before he whips the bails off in a flash. Now, into the forensics. The third umpire is summoned for the stumping check. Side-on replay shows that Gill's back leg is outside the popping crease as Haris dislodges the bails off. Shubman Gill departs early on 10 (7) and India are 22/1. 22/1

12.2 OUT! OUTFOXED! Third wicket falls for India and all have been snagged by Saim Ayub. He dishes out a length ball, from around the wickets, and gets it to turn away from the batter. Tilak Varma rocks back to punch it across but that excessive spin does him in. Beats the bat and completely makes the mess of the stumps behind. Tilak Varma is shell-shocked and departs for a run-a-ball 31. India are 97/3, needing another 31 runs off 46 deliveries. 97/3
