1 OUT! Beauty from Chahal! He bowls a slider which just straightens after pitching, Shaw looked clueless to that delivery. He looks to flick that without moving his feet too much. Left a big gap between bat and pad and the ball sneaks through to disturb the furniture. Bangalore get the early breakthrough. Shaw once again shows his weakness against the spinners, he was dismissed by Shakib the other day and today was no different. 4/1

2.4 OUT! Another beautiful delivery from Chahal, looks like it's his night tonight! He bowls a loopy googly on off which Roy fails to pick as he attempts an expansive cover drive. Leaves a huge gap between bat and pad and the ball spins in to go through the gate. Chahal is ecstatic, he knows he has done something spectacular. Both the openers are back in the shed. 16/2

| Shreyas Iyer C | 32 | 35 | 3 | 0 | 91.42 |

15.1 OUT! This is another massive breakthrough for Bangalore as Iyer in the end stages of the innings can prove to be really dangerous. Siraj speeds in and bowls a full length ball on middle and leg at 138 kph. Shreyas swings it across the line off his pads but the timing eludes him. He ends up handing a straightforward catch to Kohli at cow corner. End of a pretty uncharacteristic knock by Shreyas. Never got going. 120/4

13 OUT! Stunning catch from AB de Villiers at long on! That effort from the veteran sees the back of dangerous Rishabh Pant! Moeen Ali bowls a loopy delivery on the stumps, Pant charges down the track and hopes of clearing the long on fence with a big strike. He doesn't manage to generate enough power this time and can't even find the gap between the two men at deep mid wicket and long on. Seeing ball go up in the air, ABD charges to his left and puts in a slide at the last moment. He comes up with a great catch. So, the ploy of continuing with Ali has worked for Bangalore. 109/3

2.4 OUT! Lamichhane gets his first wicket in the Indian T20 League! Loopy ball on the off stump line which spins in just a little, Patel goes for the sweep, he wanted to play that with the spin but doesn't make contact with the ball. The ball hits him well below the knee roll and the impact is right in front of the stumps. Huge appeal for an LBW is upheld by the umpire. Two quick wickets down for Bangalore and they are in some early trouble. 18/2

1.1 OUT! And we have our answer to the question asked at the start of the run chase! Ploy of promoting Moeen Ali at the top has not worked for Bangalore! Boult starts his spell with a pacy delivery, angling in sharply from outside off and cramping Moeen Ali for room. The Englishman looks for the pull shot but he miscues it to extra cover. Shaw backtracks and pouches it safely. Delhi draw first blood! 6/1

| Virat Kohli C | 70 | 40 | 7 | 3 | 175 |

13.2 OUT! Caught behind! Sharp catch by Pant. You have to give it to Mishra. Uses all his experience, kept his composure after going for a boundary first ball and showed the heart to toss it up. A lovely delivery, drifting in around off and spinning away sharply after kissing the deck, Kohli is well forward to drive it through the line but it turns away to catch a thin outside edge. Rishabh does well to snap it and 118-run stand is broken. The equation though is a simple one for Bangalore - 46 needed off 40 balls. 136/3

16.1 OUT! And Boult makes an immediate impact with a wicket. Hurls across a back of a length ball around middle and off, skidding off the surface, Mandeep stays back to hit it across the line but fails to make any sort of connection. It sneaks past him and lights the stumps. 29 needed off 23 balls. The chase still is well and truly in favour of Bangalore. 153/4

| Sarfaraz Khan | 11 | 8 | 2 | 0 | 137.5 |

17.5 OUT! What was that? Patel bowls a sharp delivery but fails to land it. It's a low full toss dipping into the batsman and Khan tries to scoop it over the keeper. Fails to get the proper connection and ends up chipping it towards fine leg, close to long stop in fact. Prithvi Shaw is standing very straight at fine leg, not sure whether it's an intentional field positioning or young Shaw was out of place. Anyway, the catch comes to him and he grabs it in the second attempt. End of a little cameo by Sarfaraz. 168/5
