Indian all-rounder Abhishek Nayar bought for USD 675,000 (Rs 3.5 crore) by Pune Warriors.

Abhishek Nayar was born on October 3, 1983 in Secunderabad, Hyderabad. Nayar plays for Mumbai in Ranji Trophy and has been a key player to their success in past few seasons. The all-rounder averages 57.16 with the bat and 30.02 with the ball in first-class cricket. He does not quite have the pace to be a regular attacking option, but it's with his left-hand batting that he becomes a natural selection. Nayar was roped in by Mumbai Indians in the inaugural season in 2008, but was transferred to Kings XI Punjab last season.

Indian pacer R P Singh bought for USD 400,000 (Rs 2.1 crore) by Royal Challengers Bangalore.

His form may have dipped in the past two IPL seasons but RP Singh was one of India's top bowlers prior to that. His performances in the first three IPLs and in the 2007 T20 World Cup is worth quite a mention. Singh has played 67 IPL games getting 74 wickets at 25.64 with an economy-rate of 7.77. Not much capable with the bat and with fielding nothing to write home about, his stocks have plummetted over the years. Now at 27 and with plenty of experience on his back, IPL 6 just might be the kick he needs.
