2.3 OUT! IN THE AIR AND GONE! Saim Ayub holes out in the deep and Evans gets his first wicket. Evans bangs it short and around the off stump line. Saim Ayub again shuffles a bit across and tries to clear deep square leg with a pull shot. But he mistimes the shot, probably because of the ball getting a bit heavy on him. The ball goes high off the bat and sails towards Wellington Masakadza at deep square leg. He moves a bit to his right and judges the trajectory well and takes a good diving catch. Saim Ayub departs for 13 (8) and Pakistan are 29/1. 29/1

17.4 OUT! CAUGHT! Smartly bowled and Sikandar Raza yet again gets the last laugh. However, Babar Azam will feel he's done his job. Raza takes a bit of pace off the delivery and serves it fuller at the stumps. Babar sits down for the slog sweep but gets a lot of height on it and not enough distance. Brad Evans at deep square leg moves to his right, settles himself just inside the ropes and takes a good catch under pressure. Babar departs for 74 (52) and Pakistan are now 163/4! 163/4

16.4 OUT! FAHEEM ASHRAF IS RUN OUT! Excellent fielding in the deep and just a bit of hesitation between the batters brings about another wicket for Zimbabwe. Brad Evans bowls it on a length and angles it into the stumps. Faheem Ashraf picks it up and clubs it to the left of long on and the batters pick up a single. However, Sikandar Raza is quick to get to the ball and, even as he is off-balanced, fires in a good throw at the bowler's end. The batters think about the second but Babar sends Ashraf back. He has to turn back but is stranded halfway, and Evans whips off the bails to complete the run out. 144/3

18.2 OUT! CAUGHT! Wickets continue to tumble at the death for Pakistan and Zimbabwe won't mind that at all. Richard Ngarava bowls a fuller ball on off and middle and tries to slide it in towards the pads. Mohammad Nawaz doesn't quite get the front leg out of the way and heaves it down to a wide deep mid-wicket. Brad Evans once again settles himself inside the ropes and pouches it safely. Mohammad Nawaz departs on a run-a-ball 4, and from 144/2, Pakistan have slipped a bit down to 167/5. 167/5

1.4 OUT! CASTLED! That was on the cards as Brian Bennett was looking to swing at every delivery and Mohammad Wasim takes full advantage of it. Wasim hits a good length again and darts the ball back in towards the stumps. Bennett gives himself room leg side and has a swipe across the line, but misses it completely, and the ball hammers into the stumps. Zimbabwe lose both their openers and are now 14/2. 14/2

1 OUT! CAUGHT! Soft, soft dismissal and Tadiwanashe Marumani won't be happy with himself. Good-length delivery, nothing special, just angling across off at 138 kph. Marumani hangs back on the crease and looks to drive it through covers but is very late on the shot and ends up chipping it to the man in front of point. Sahibzada Farhan takes a simple catch and Naseem Shah gets a morale-boosting wicket on his return. Zimbabwe 6/1 after 1. 6/1

3.3 OUT! CAUGHT! Straight to the man and that is another soft dismissal. All three Pakistani pacers have now picked up a wicket in their first overs. Faheem Ashraf pushes the ball fuller again and outside off stump, inviting the batter forward. Brendan Taylor leans across well but ends up just jabbing at the ball. The ball also holds in the pitch and goes lobbed off the face of the blade straight to Babar Azam at short cover and he makes no mistake. Zimbabwe slip further down to 25/3. They need 171 runs to win. 25/3

8.1 OUT! IN THE AIR AND GONE! Straight to the fielder. Nawaz continues his fine form with the ball. He lands it short and slides the ball into the batter. Sikandar Raza is quick to pivot on the back foot, but has very little room to work with. Still, he goes through the pull shot but gets no timing and distance. Hits it straight into the hands of Faheem Ashraf stationed at deep mid-wicket. This is a massive wicket as Sikandar Raza perishes on 23 off 18 balls. Zimbabwe are 59/4, needing 137 runs to win in 71 balls. 59/4

9.2 OUT! TOP EDGE AND GONE! Usman Tariq gets his first wicket and troubles keep multiplying for Zimbabwe. Tariq flights it up and drops it full. He gets a bit of a purchase off the surface as the ball spins in with some bounce. Tony Munyonga gets down on a knee to sweep, but due to the ball getting extra bounce, it balloons off the top edge towards short fine leg. Naseem Shah moves a bit to his right and takes a simple catch. Tony Munyonga departs on 1 off 7 balls and Zimbabwe are 60/5. 60/5

9.3 OUT! OUTFOXED! How do you play that? Usman offers a nice bit of loop on the ball and drops it full, in front of the stumps. The ball lands and grips into the batter sharply. Tashinga Musekiwa draws the front foot out and looks to work it to the on side, but the ball spins across the bat's face and beats the inside edge. It then rebounds off the back pad and crashes into the stumps behind. A golden duck for Tashinga Musekiwa and Zimbabwe are pushed further down to 60/6, needing 136 runs. USMAN TARIQ IS ON A HAT TRICK! 60/6

9.4 OUT! HAT TRICK FOR USMAN TARIQ! The mystery man has dented the Zimbabwean middle order badly. Usman is only the 4th Pakistani bowler to pick up a Hat Trick in T20Is after Faheem Ashraf, Mohammad Hasnain and Mohammad Nawaz. Serves it full, does Usman. It is around the off stump and Wellington Masakadza chances his arm to slog it over the long on fence, but goes through his shot a tad early and mistimes it straight into the hands of Babar Azam at long on. Wellington Masakadza departs without troubling the scorers and Zimbabwe are 60/7 down now. 11 OUT! BOWLED'EM! Through the gate! Mohammad Nawaz keeps raking in the wickets and he's certainly been Pakistan's most consistent T20I performer this year. Fires in an arm ball, landing it a bit full and on the fifth stump line. Just full enough for Brad Evans to be drawn forward and as he looks to drive, the ball darts back in, going between bat and pad and smashes into the stumps. 63/8

14 OUT! BOWLED! Finally, one that is hitting the stumps and Tinotenda Maposa yet again swings nowhere close to the ball. Usman Tariq flights the ball up on off stump and bowls it just full enough to get under the bat. Maposa gets down on one knee and swings wildly across the line but the ball dips and spins in to castle into the middle stump. Tariq finishes his spell with another wicket and gets a four-fer as well. 82/9

19 OUT! RICHARD NGARAVA IS RUN OUT! Well, that wasn't the part of the script at all. Fuller delivery, down the leg stump line. Ryan attempts to whip that away into the leg side, but misses to connect. Usman Khan, the keeper, fumbles to collect the ball in the first attempt and recovers almost instantly. There is a total communication lapse in the middle as Ryan Burl is going nowhere and is ball-watching, but Richard Ngarava is more than halfway through to sneak in a bye. In fact, he is almost near the popping crease at the batting end. Realising this, Usman Khan tosses up an underarm throw toward the non-striker's end and scores a direct hit.
