7.4 OUT! EDGED AND GONE! Matt Henry draws the first blood for New Zealand! Comes from over the wicket and serves it on a good length, angling away, outside off. Dawid Malan hangs on the back foot and goes chasing at the delivery. Drives away from the body and pays the price for not moving his feet. Gets an outside edge which is pouched safely by Tom Latham behind the wicket. Henry gets his reward for some consistent bowling. 40/1

41.1 OUT! TIMBER! The golden arm of Glenn Phillips strikes again and gets the big wicket of Joe Root now! Comes from over the wicket and fires it in, angling in, on the leg stump line, Joe Root gets down on one knee and decides to reverse sweep. The ball is a bit too full for this shot and fails to make any contact with the bat. The ball sneaks through his legs, before striking the leg stump. Phillips is delighted as anything and England have been dealt a massive blow. 229/7

17 OUT! CAUGHT! Would you believe it? Another drag down but this time Harry Brook is a goner. Rachin Ravindra bowls it short over off, Brook picks up the length early and rocks back to pull. Brook loses his shape a bit and ends up lifting it high off the outer half of the bat. The ball goes to the left of the man at deep mid-wicket and Devon Conway gets across well to take a fine catch. Ravindra has the last laugh here and this is a big blow for England. 94/3

21.2 OUT! BOWLED! An inspired bowling change by Tom Latham as Glenn Phillips strikes straightaway! Drops it short, slower and on the off stump line, Moeen Ali picks the length early and swivels in the crease to pull it away. The ball stops in the surface and comes on slower. Moeen is through his shot early and fails to connect. The ball pegs back the off stump and Phillips has his first wicket. England lose their fourth and are in a spot of bother. 118/4

33.2 OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! Matt Henry has done what the captain asked for and New Zealand are able to break this vital stand. Henry bowls it a touch fuller and in the channel around off. It is the wobble seam delivery that comes back in a shade as well. Jos Buttler hangs back and tries to manufacture a bit of room to glide it down to third man but gets a feather of an outside edge that Tom Latham gobbles up behind the stumps. England have now lost half their side as the dangerous Buttler departs after a promising knock. 188/5

38.5 OUT! CAUGHT! The dot ball pressure is telling! Trent Boult runs in and bowls another knuckle ball but the line is much straighter this time. This is full and around middle, Liam Livingstone looks to play the pick-up shot over mid-wicket but is undone by the lack of pace and ends up chipping it straight down the throat of Matt Henry at long on. Henry makes no mistake and after four dot balls, Boult gets his first wicket of the tournament, clever bowling. 221/6

45.4 OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! It is all just coming together for New Zealand here and they are just one wicket away from bundling out England. This is bowled from around the wicket by Matt Henry and he bowls another surprise bumper outside off this time. Sam Curran tries to upper cut it over backward point but it isn't short enough and he only ends up getting a tickle on it. The ball carries through to the keeper and Tom Latham takes another easy catch. Henry picks up his third wicket of what has been a fine display from him. 252/9

45 OUT! TAKEN! Mitchell Santner gets his man! He has been rewarded for a clever piece of bowling. Loops this one up nicely, full and turning away, outside off, Chris Woakes gets tempted by the flight and goes for a swipe across the line. Pays the price as the ball spins away enough to catch the top edge and Will Young at point makes absolutely no mistake. New Zealand continue to chip away with wickets and England are now 8 down. 250/8

1.1 OUT! TAKEN! Will Young cannot believe it but the golden arm of Sam Curran strikes on the very first ball. This is bowled from over the wicket, full and swinging just down the leg side. Young looks to flick it away fine but gets a slight tickle and Jos Buttler takes an excellent catch tumbling to his left with both gloves. The finger goes up straightaway and England have the early breakthrough here as Young departs for a dolen duck. 10/1
