Sunil Narine's Bowling Action Cleared by International Cricket Council Ahead of Indian Premier League
Sunil Narine, who was suspended for a suspect bowling action, has been cleared by the International Cricket Council and can resume bowling in international and domestic cricket.

West Indies off-spinner Sunil Narine was cleared to resume his career after a suspension for a suspect bowling action ruled him out of his team's World Twenty20 title-winning campaign. (Sunil Narine Might Miss Kolkata Knight Riders Opener in IPL 9)
The 27-year-old Trinidadian was suspended in November last year after being cited during a one-day match in Sri Lanka. He had also been reported for a similar problem during the 2014 Champions League T20 tournament.

At the retest, it was revealed that the amount of elbow extensions in Narine's bowling action for all his deliveries that were tested was within the 15-degree level of tolerance permitted under the ICC regulations for the review of bowlers reported with suspected illegal bowling actions.
The umpires are free to report Narine in the future if they believe he uses a suspect action.
The retest was performed at the Sri Ramachandra University in Chennai on March 28.
Narine has played six Tests in his stop-start career, taking 21 wickets. He also has 77 wickets in 55 ODIs and 40 victims in Twenty20.
Narine, who was the number one ranked bowler, had to drop out of the original 15-man West Indies squad for the World Twenty20 in India which ended on Sunday with his team securing a second title with a four-wicket win over England.
