Former England skipper Nasser Hussain found support for his comment referring to India fielders as 'donkeys' from Michael Vaughan, on Saturday.
Vaughan, who himself has come under severe criticism for his comments on VVS Laxman's bat, tweeted that he completely agreed with what Hussain had to say about the Indian fielders' performance in the one-off T20 match at Manchester. "Just seen that Nasser said the Indians have a couple of Donkeys in the field... How wrong can he be!!!! I have seen at least 4...." he wrote on the micro-blogging site.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India had taken serious offense to the comments made by Hussain previously and is not expected to take kindly to Vaughan's comments either. In fact, former India cricketers and fan-outburst in general had forced Vaughan to apologise after he had accused Laxman of applying Vaseline to his bat, during the Test series. By making his support for Hussain public through Twitter, Vaughan seems to have opened himself to ire once again.
