Tendulkar has been a racing freak. He waved the chequered flag in the inaugural Indian GP in 2011. Tendulkar has been a Ferrari fan and the Force India tribute has come at the perfect time.
Quite a few F1 racers are sad that Tendulkar will be retiring from all forms of cricket. Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg is one of them. On Wednesday, Rosberg said in Delhi: "I heard he is retiring. It is a great pity, especially for the Indian public. I met him last year when I was here for the race. He came across as a true F1 fan."
Tendulkar will be playing his last Ranji Trophy match against Haryana at Lahli this weekend. This game will be a warm-up before his lasts two Tests -199th and 200th -- at Kolkata and Mumbai next month.
