Fernando shuffles and looks to flick but misses and gets hit on the pads. Sam Curran appeals and up goes the finger. Fernando reviews it. 34.3 OUT! CAUGHT AT DEEP SQUARE LEG! Dhananjaya de Silva goes for 91! End of a magnificent innings but he will be disappointed that he could not carry on. Short ball on off, de Silva looks to pull but it takes the top edge and goes to deep square leg where Joe Root takes a simple catch. 164/6

6.5 OUT! TAKEN! David Willey can barely believe it! Pitches a short ball on middle, Charith Asalanka is tempted to clear the infield. He pulls it but mistimes it completely. It lands straight into the hands of George Garton at square leg. He gets his first touch in the game coming on as a substitute fielder. Sri Lanka in complete disarray here. 20.3 OUT! CAUGHT AT DEEP SQUARE LEG! Short ball brings about the downfall for Wanindu Hasaranga. He was in no position to play that shot and Sam Billings did not have to move at deep square leg. Short ball on middle, Hasaranga clears his front leg and looks to pull but it takes the top edge and goes to deep square leg where Billings takes the simplest of catches. 86/5

45 OUT! TAKEN! Dasun Shanaka falls three short of a half-century! Willey bowls a short delivery on leg, Dasun Shanaka moves into the line of the ball and slashes it uppishly. He hits it straight into the hands of Sam Curran at deep point who doesn't have to move an inch. Shanaka walks back to the pavilion after playing a handy knock. 206/7

46.1 OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! 5-fer for Sam Curran! He has bowled really well and he deserves it. It has come at his home ground as well. Simply superb bowling. Short ball around middle and leg, Karunaratne looks to pull but it goes off the gloves to Bairstow who pouches it easily and Sri Lanka are 8 down. 217/8

49.1 OUT! CAUGHT! Good catch from Adil Rashid! Sri Lanka are 9 down now! Short ball around middle, Fernando looks to pull but it takes the top edge and goes to fine leg. Adil Rashid comes running ahead and takes a good catch. Willey is on a Hat-Trick. 229/9

17.1 OUT! TAKEN! Chamika Karunaratne gets rid of the big fish! Short ball on middle, Jason Roy looks to pull it over mid-wicket for another boundary. But Dhananjaya de Silva had other plans. He at mid-wicket leaps and pulls off a blinder. Only a splendid catch like that could have stopped Jason Roy. De Silva cannot do anything wrong today. He deserves all the praise.
