Ayush Mhatre stays put, clearing the front leg and looks to hit through the line. Mhatre ends up getting it off the toe end of the bat and Maphaka takes a fine low catch rushing in from long on. Mhatre departs after a blazing cameo of 43 (20) and CSK are 3 down for 68. 68/3

1.4 OUT! CAUGHT! Easy catch but Riyan Parag took a big risk there by letting go of the ball in a flash. Yudhvir Singh bangs this one slightly into the deck and keeps the line over off and middle. Devon Conway is itching to come down the track but gets undone by the length and still goes through with the shot. Conway chips it straight to mid off where Parag takes the easiest of catches and RR get an early breakthrough. CSK 12/1! 12/1

2 OUT! CAUGHT! Yudhvir Singh goes bang-bang, and CSK are two down in a jiffy! Singh keeps hammering the ball on a hard length and keeps the line over off and middle. Urvil Patel makes the same mistake as Conway and tries to force the lofted shot. Patel loses his shape and lofts it over mid on, where Kwena Maphaka takes a brilliant catch leaping over his shoulders. Patel goes for a two-ball duck. 12/2

6.3 OUT! CAUGHT! STRAIGHT INTO THE HANDS! Wanindu Hasaranga makes an instant impact, and the promotion of Ravichandran Ashwin hasn't worked for CSK! A googly, flighted, full and on off, Ashwin comes down the track and looks to slog it. Instead, he makes a connection with the toe-end of the bat and the ball goes straight to deep mid-wicket, where Shimron Hetmyer makes no mistake and pouches it safely. CSK lose their fourth and they are in trouble here. 70/4

7.4 OUT! CAUGHT! Dhruv Jurel takes an excellent diving catch, and Ravindra Jadeja is gone! Much full and around middle, not a good ball to get a wicket as Jadeja shifts his weight to the front foot and flicks it. He middles it too, but straight to the short mid-wicket fielder, where Jurel dives in front of him and gobbles it nicely with both hands. The fielding of the  Rajasthan Royals has been superb throughout the match and they have been rewarded with the fifth wicket. 78/5

13.4 OUT! DRAGGED ON! Akash Madhwal gets a big wicket, and the dangerous-looking Dewald Brevis is gone after playing a fiery inning of 42! Madhwal keeps it fuller and bowls it touch outside off, gets it to swing back in a bit as well. Brevis makes a base for himself by going deep-rooted in his crease and looks to loft it down the ground. He just manages to get an inside edge, and the ball goes and rattles the middle stump. CSK lose their sixth wicket. 137/6

19.1 OUT! TAKEN! Akash Madhwal gets his second, and the Rajasthan Royals have pulled things back nicely in the last couple of overs. This is a low full toss, on middle. Shivam Dube clears his front leg to slog it away, but fails to get under it and does not get the elevation. The ball goes flat and in the air straight towards long on, where Yashasvi Jaiswal takes a good catch. Dube goes back after a valuable contribution, and CSK are 180/7! 180/7

19.5 OUT! TAKEN! WHAT A SPECTACULAR CATCH! Akash Madhwal serves a low full toss around off. MS Dhoni goes down across to scoop it away and connects well too. The ball travels fast and hard towards short fine, where Tushar Deshpande shows great reflexes to grab it with both hands over his head. He may have hurt his hand, but he has saved crucial runs for his team, and on top of it, sends MSD back to the hut as well. 185/8

3.4 OUT! KNOCKED HIM OVER! Anshul Kamboj gets the big wicket, and the quick cameo of Yashasvi Jaiswal comes to an end as he goes for 36(19). On a good length and around off, gets it to move away a bit. Jaiswal clears out his front leg, gives himself room, and looks to slog it to the leg side. He misses the line of the ball, seems to lose his balance, and thus the ball goes past the bottom part of his bat and hits the top of the off stump. A dream wicket for the bowler, and RR are 37/1. 37/1

14 OUT! TAKEN! Ravichandran Ashwin with a double whammy! He gets rid of both the set batters in this over, and just might have given a little bit of hope for his team. He slows it up, full and around middle, turns away a bit. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi clears his front leg out to slog it across the line but loses his shape completely. The ball takes the top edge and goes in the air towards point, where Ravindra Jadeja backtracks a bit and pouches it safely. VS departs after a fiery 57 off 33, and RR are 138/3. still needing 50 runs in 36 balls. 138/3

13.2 OUT! TAKEN! Ravichandran Ashwin strikes a crucial blow for CSK! He bowls the carrom ball, shortish and on middle, turns away a bit. Sanju Samson moves back to swat it away but fails to control the shot and slices it high up in the air. This time Dewald Brevis at long on settles under it and takes a good catch. The huge 98-run stand has been broken, but RR are still well ahead in this chase. 135/2

15.4 OUT! TIMBER! Another twist in the tale? Noor Ahmad tosses the ball up a bit full and hangs it slightly outside off. Riyan Parag thinks it is the googly that is going to turn away, and reaches out to play with the spin. However, the ball holds its line and takes the inside edge before crashing into the stumps, and the CSK spinners are keeping their side with an outside chance here.
