5.2 OUT! LBW! What a review! Fazalhaq Farooqi slides this one in a lot fuller on middle and gets it to swing into the left-hander. Dimuth Karunaratne plays all around a straight ball as he looks to flick and the ball thuds into the pads. There is a huge appeal for LBW but it is turned down and it seems to be sliding down leg. The ball has also rolled away to the fence but Hashmatullah Shahidi has opted for the review. Nothing on UltraEdge but Ball Tracking comes up with three reds and the on-field decision is overturned. Sri Lanka lose their first wicket. 22/1

27.4 OUT! CAUGHT! Kusal Mendis once again gets out to his favorite shot and he has thrown his wicket away. Mujeeb Ur Rahman flicks this one from the back of the hand and bowls it on a length around off, skidding through as well. Mendis gets down on one knee looking for the slog-sweep but the bounce of the ball means that it comes off the top edge more than the middle and flies down the throat of the man at deep mid-wicket. The substitute fielder there, Najibullah Zadran stays put and takes a good catch. Afghanistan pick up another timely wicket. 134/3

29.1 OUT! LBW! Mujeeb Ur Rahman strikes again and Sri Lanka lose another set batter. Mujeeb floats this one up a lot fuller on the stumps and it is the googly that just skids on and Samarawickrama is caught on the back foot. Samarawickrama doesn't pick it up and gets beaten on the inside edge before getting rapped on the pads. A huge appeal and the finger goes up. Sadeera Samarawickrama has reviewed it though. Nothing on UltraEdge and it looks dead straight which is also confirmed by Ball Tracking. The on-field decision stands and Afghanistan making big inroads now. 139/4

38.5 OUT! TAKEN! Fazalhaq Farooqi gets his man now! This was coming as the dot balls were piling up. Farooqi bangs this on short and around off, Charith Asalanka looks to pull it away but goes through his shot way early and gets a top edge as the ball flies in the air towards mid off where Rashid Khan runs forward and takes a comfortable catch. Sri Lanka six down and in a lot of trouble! 180/6

36 OUT! CASTLED! Rashid Khan gets a wicket in his 100th ODI! This is a terrific delivery and DDS had no answer to it. Rashid Khan serves another lovely googly this time, full and around middle, grips and turns in sharply, Dhananjaya de Silva prods forward to play at it but does so down the wrong line and the ball goes between the huge gap between bat and pad to shatter the middle pole. 48.3 OUT! TAKEN! A brilliant catch in the deep! Fazalhaq Farooqi serves this full and around middle, takes all the pace off the ball, Angelo Mathews stays deep in his crease and looks to slog it away but goes through his shot early and his bottom hand comes off as well. As a result, the ball goes high in the air towards long on where Mohammad Nabi judges it well and takes a fine catch just inches inside the ropes and keeps his balance nicely as well. 40 OUT! RUN OUT! Another one bites the dust! Rashid Khan lands this short and around off, Dushmantha Chameera stays back and defends it to the off side and holds the pose for a few seconds. However, Angelo Mathews calls for the run and Chameera responds a bit late, Ibrahim Zadran from cover-point runs forward, picks up the ball an hits bullseye at the bowler's end with Chameera short of his crease. Afghanistan players look confident and the replay confirms that it is out. Sri Lanka seven down now! 185/7

47 OUT! BOWLED'EM! Fazalhaq Farooqi has three now! He absolutely nails the yorker this time, on middle, angling in, Maheesh Theekshana makes room and tries to squeeze it away but is too late to put his bat down and the ball goes through to shatter the stumps. A good little cameo from Maheesh Theekshana comes to an end and Lanka lose their eighth wicket. 230/8

49.3 OUT! RUN OUT! Another fine piece of effort in the field from Afghanistan! Naveen-ul-Haq bowls this on a good length but down the leg side, slower too, Dilshan Madushanka looks to heave it away but misses, Kasun Rajitha sets off for the bye run but Rahmanullah Gurbaz quickly gathers the ball and hits the stumps with the gloves on at the batter's end with Rajitha putting in a dive in. However, the square leg umpire signals out as the batter is well short. Sri Lanka have been bowled out for 241! 241/10

0.4 OUT! TIMBER! Dilshan Madushanka draws first blood! It is a perfect delivery from this man. He bowls this one up and the ball bounces on a length and swings in on the pads. Rahmanullah Gurbaz tries to play across the line but the ball hits his pads and is deflected onto the middle stump, uprooting it. Dilshan Madushanka was looking good this over and he has given the Lankans their first wicket in the first over as the dangerous Gurbaz departs for a duck. 0/1

16.5 OUT! CAUGHT! Something had to give and Dilshan Madushanka has got the breakthrough for his side. A well-directed short ball, over off and angled in, cramping the batter for room. Ibrahim Zadran bends his back and lets the ball come on before attempting the ramp. There's not much pace on the bat and Zadran doesn't quite get it off the middle of the bat as well. The ball flies down to third man where Dimuth Karunaratne comes in and takes a good low catch in front of him. Sri Lanka right back in it now. 73/2

28 OUT! TAKEN! Kasun Rajitha provides the breakthrough and Sadeera Samarawickrama will be a very relieved man. Rajitha bowls a cross-seamed delivery on length and on the pads and the ball holds up a touch in  the pitch. Rahmat Shah tries to play it across the line on the leg side but the leading edge sends the ball straight up in the air. Dimuth Karunaratne the fielder at mid on completes a safe catch and the drop on the previous ball did not prove fatal for the Lankans as a set Rahmat Shah is dismissed the very next ball. 131/3
