Pakistan were bundled out for just 49 runs - their lowest-ever total in Test cricket history - by South Africa during the second day of their first match at Johannesburg on Saturday.
Pakistan's previous lowest total in Tests were 53 against Australia at Sharjah in October 2002.
The aforesaid total is the fifth lowest in the last twenty five years in Tests - the lowest being 45 by New Zealand against South Africa at Cape Town in January 2013.
Pakistan's previous lowest total against South Africa was 92 at Faisalabad in October 1997.
Their 49 is the third lowest total by any team against South Africa in Tests. Apart from NZ's 45, Australia were bundled out for 47 at Cape Town in November 2011.
Dale Steyn (6/8) has produced his best bowling figures in Tests in South Africa.
