Prabhsimran Singh looks to flick it fine but gets strangled down the leg side and seems to have missed it. Sanju Samson pouches it safely to his left, and there is a loud appeal from the bowler for caught behind, but the umpire says no. Samson does review it, and UltraEdge shows a clear nick, and the ball actually went off the face of the bat. The onfield decision is overturned, and PBKS are in early trouble here. 3 OUT! CAUGHT! A two-ball duck on IPL debut for Mitchell Owen and Kwena Maphaka ends a wayward first over with a big wicket. Maphaka serves it a bit short and outside off. Owen hangs back, backs away and reaches out to go big. The ball is a bit too wide and Owen ends up slicing it high towards the short third region. Wide of off, pitched on a fuller length, Nehal Wadhera slices it aerially but doesn't get the timing right on this one. The ball sails off the toe end of the bat, and travels straight towards Shimron Hetmyer at deep point who takes a fine low catch. 10.3 OUT! Parag delivers as he dismisses Iyer. Tossed up, further wide outside off, Shreyas Iyer, with no footwork, swings at it. Gets it miscued off the cue end and the ball hangs high over Yashasvi Jaiswal at long off. Jaiswal settles underneath it and holds onto this. A simple, straightforward catch in the deep. Parag breaks this 67-run stand for the fourth wicket and Shreyas Iyer, the PBKS skipper, departs for a well-made 30 off 25 balls. 8.4 OUT! IN THE AIR AND TAKEN! Just when RR were going at the rate of knots, Harpreet Brar picks up another wicket and this time Yashasvi Jaiswal departs after a 25-ball 50. Brar bowls from around the stumps, and drifts it across the off stump, keeping the length fuller. Yashasvi Jaiswal gets on the front foot to loft it over long off, but doesn't quite get his bat under the ball properly. Hence, he finds no timing and the ball sails towards the right of Mitchell Owen at long off. The Aussie takes a fine catch. RR are 109/2 now. 109/2

4.5 OUT! CAUGHT! What a relief for Punjab Kings! Harpreet Brar stays over the wicket and darts this one in full and at the stumps. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi hangs deep and looks to heave across the line but loses his shape. The ball gets sliced up over mid off where Xavier Bartlett does well to reach back over his head and takes the catch. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi departs for a rollicking 40 off just 15 balls and Rajasthan Royals are 76/1. 76/1

10.2 OUT! GONE UP IN THE AIR AND CAUGHT! Azmatullah Omarzai keeps making things happen for Punjab Kings! He bowls it into the pitch, on a length, angling it to the leg stump line, Sanju Samson finds no space to work with and has to shuffle outside leg to make some room for himself. He tries to loft it over long off, but mistimes the ball towards the off side. Marco Jansen from mid off, runs across to his left and takes a fine running catch. 13.2 OUT! CLEANED HIM UP! Harpreet Brar keeps chipping in with wickets as he gets his third of the evening! He dishes out an arm ball, on a flatter trajectory, drifting on the leg stump line. It lands and stays a tad bit low on the bounce, which outfoxes Parag. The batter stands tall and goes for a pull shot, but, due to the lack of bounce, the ball passes under the bat and crashes into the leg stump.
