Prabhsimran Singh backs away to his leg side but is cramped for room as he looks to dab it through the off side. Gets an inside edge that goes back to crash into the stumps. Prabhsimran Singh departs for a two-ball duck and Punjab Kings are 17/1. 17/1

2.4 OUT! TIMBER! Khaleel Ahmed roars back, and his happiness knows no bounds! This is a big wicket for Chennai Super Kings as the in-form Shreyas Iyer departs for 9 (7). Khaleel Ahmed goes very full on middle and off. Shreyas Iyer looks to drive it straight but misses the line completely as the ball nips back in. The ball skids through and zips past the inside edge to send the off stump on a cartwheel. 32/2

5 OUT! TAKEN! It's been a brisk start from Priyansh Arya at one end, but Punjab Kings are losing wickets way too quickly at the other end. Khaleel Ahmed gets his second and Marcus Stoinis departs for just 4 (7). Khaleel Ahmed goes into the surface and attacks the hips, on a length, Marcus Stoinis tries to tuck it across but closes the bat face way too early. A leading edge is found, and Devon Conway makes no mistake at backward point. Punjab Kings are in some sort of trouble at 54/3 at the end of 5 overs. 54/3

7.2 OUT! IN THE AIR AND GONE! Ravichandran Ashwin strikes! Ruturaj Gaikwad persists with Ashwin despite an expensive first over and the veteran has delivered. Keeps it full, on off, Nehal Wadhera gets down on a knee for the slog sweep but gets a top edge that goes straight up behind the wicket. MS Dhoni turns around and settles under it to snaffle a neat catch. Nehal falls for 9 (7) and the Kings are now 81/4. 81/4

8 OUT! CAUGHT AND BOWLED! Ravichandran Ashwin just about manages to hold on, and he has two in the over! Glenn Maxwell cannot quite believe it. Punjab Kings have now lost half their side at the score at 83. It is the carrom ball from Ashwin, at the stumps, Glenn Maxwell backs away to go back over the bowler's head but does not quite get the elevation. Hits it flat and straight back at the bowler. Ashwin tries to take it to his right and the ball hits him on the wrist but he reacts quickly to take it on the second attempt close to his chest. 83/5

6.3 OUT! STUMPED! Glenn Maxwell breaks the opening stand! Smart piece of bowling and quick glove work as well. Sees Rachin charge down the track and drops it short and outside off. The ball sticks to the surface a bit and bounces a bit more than Rachin was expecting. He looks to flay it away on the off side but is beaten on the outside edge by the extra bounce. The keeper Prabhsimran Singh takes it to his left and knocks the bails off with Rachin Ravindra not having an ounce of chance to make it back. 61/1

7.2 OUT! TAKEN! Lockie Ferguson makes an immediate impact and Chennai Super Kings lose two quick wickets in the span of just 6 balls. Ferguson goes into the deck, on a length, on middle and off, Ruturaj Gaikwad presses ahead and looks to pump it through the off side but is hurried onto the shot. Hits it off the inner half of the bat and to the left of short mid-wicket, who was placed there for exactly this shot. Shashank Singh, with good reflexes, takes a fine catch with both hands to his left around his left shoulder. 62/2

15.5 OUT! TIMBER! Lockie Ferguson throughly deserved this wicket for being smart with his variations. Bowls the knuckle-ball on a length, on middle and off and angles it into the batter. Shivam Dube swipes across but does so a bit too ealry and gets beaten on the inside edge. The ball zips through the gap between the bat and the pad to knock the bails over. 151/3

19.1 OUT! CAUGHT! Yash Thakur bowls the worst possible ball to start the final over and manages to get the big wicket. This should be it for Punjab Kings! A low full toss, just down leg, MS Dhoni gets low and angles it straight to Yuzvendra Chahal at short fine leg. The ball goes hard at chest height and Yuzvendra Chahal pops it out but manages to grab it on the second attempt. 192/5
