Matt Henry was exceptional in the last game with the new ball and he has hit the right chords here as well. A lovely inswinger. It lands on a good length around off and nips back in after kissing the deck. Andy Balbirnie decides not to offer any shot and lifts his bat up to make way for the ball through to the keeper. But to his disappointment, the ball keeps on moving and goes on to clip the top of the off stump. A dream delivery. Matt Henry celebrates calmly. The other fast bowlers would have gone bonkers after claiming a wicket in this manner. 5/2

18.3 OUT! STUMPED! Smart bowling from Michael Bracewell and the well-set Andy McBrine departs! McBrine pre-meditates and decides to use his feet. Bracewell sees the batter coming down the track and just flights it outside off, with the ball turning away as well. McBrine gets nowhere near the pitch of the ball and Tom Latham is lightning quick behind the stumps to whip off the bails. Ireland lose their fourth and McBrine is disgusted with himself. 61/4

12.3 OUT! CAUGHT! A huge, huge wicket for the Kiwis and the centurion from the last game is gone! Michael Bracewell tosses it up on the middle stump line, Harry Tector dances down the track and tries to hit it with the spin. But he doesn't get to the pitch of the ball and ends up forcing it off the toe end of the bat. The ball flies straight to the man at long on and Glenn Phillips over there takes a simple catch. Bracewell with a wicket in his first over and New Zealand are in the driving seat. 32/3

27.3 OUT! CAUGHT! This was always on the cards and credit to Tom Latham for persisting with a slip fielder. Smart bowling from Mitchell Santner. There is enough in the pitch and all he needs to do is to land it in good areas. Santner does exactly that. He gives it a good toss, getting the ball to drift in around off, Curtis Campher commits himself on the front foot, attempting to defend but the ball turns away with extra bounce and takes the shoulder of his bat. It flies to first slip where Finn Allen accepts a simple catch. Ireland are in deep trouble with five of their top batters back in the pavilion. 85/5

36.3 OUT! CAUGHT! Very soft dismissal and Lorcan Tucker will be disappointed with that. Glenn Phillips just floats this one up on a length and outside off. Tucker backs away, trying to go over extra cover, but ends up just checking his shot. He chips it straight up in the air around the cover region where Blair Tickner takes a dolly of a catch moving across to his right. Phillips gets the breakthrough and seems all pumped up. Ireland have to rebuild yet again. 126/6

44.3 OUT! CAUGHT! A maiden ODI wicket for Jacob Duffy on debut and it is a big one too! This is a bit shorter and around middle, Duffy takes the pace off the ball. George Dockrell backs away looking to club it over the mid-wicket fence but is undone by the lack of pace. Dockrell swings early and mistimes it in the air towards long on. Michael Bracewell over there takes a simple catch and a brilliant knock from Dockrell comes to an end. 185/7

45.2 OUT! RUN OUT! Another blow to Ireland as they lose a set batter. Santner fires it short and on middle, Mark Adair turns and hits it straight towards short fine leg. He doesn't want any run and turns his back but Simi Singh keeps on running, without looking at his partner. Simi realizes late and has no chance of returning. Jacob Duffy sends in the throw and Santner does the rest at his end. 187/8

45.5 OUT! Caught behind! Flighted and around off, Craig Young tries to defend but it turns away a shade to take the shoulder of his bat. Tom Latham shows good reflexes and grabs a sharp catch. It's going downhill for Ireland again at the backend of the innings. 188/9

48 OUT! Josh Little is run out. Needless from Mark Adair. He could have taken a single and kept strike for the next over. Fuller in length around off, Mark Adair clears his front leg for a big shot but mistimes it in the air towards sweeper cover. It falls safely and they attempt for the second run as Henry Nicholls fires in a flat throw to the bowler. Matt Henry takes the bails off and Josh Little is well short of the crease. Ireland are all out for 216 and have wasted 12 balls. 216/10

0.1 OUT! BOWLED! Martin Guptill bags a golden duck. What a start from Mark Adair! He nails his yorker to perfection. Speeds in from over the wicket, eyes the blockhole straight away and attempts to catch the batter unaware. Martin Guptill's feet go nowhere, his bat comes down late and the ball goes behind to floor the stumps. Mark Adair jumps in delight! 0/1

Curtis Campher goes full and angles it into middle and leg, Finn Allen looks to just loft it over the man at mid on but gets it off the toe end of the bat. The ball is chipped towards Josh Little and he makes no mistake inside the ring. A much-needed breakthrough then for Ireland and Allen departs after a fiery knock. 116 needed now off 33 overs. 101/3

32.2 OUT! LBW! Fifty and out for Tom Latham and Ireland are right back in it! Simi Singh delivers the arm ball, this one pitches on middle and just keeps on coming in with the angle. Latham is pushed onto the back foot as he looks to work it away. The ball skids on and pings Latham on the back pad. The finger is raised immediately after the appeal and Singh has the breakthrough. Surprisingly, there's no review from the skipper and he walks back in disappointment. The replay shows that it was a good decision not to review as the ball was hitting the leg stump. 177/6

24.2 OUT! RUN OUT! A direct hit from the deep and Ireland have a wicket against the run of play. You just cannot keep Curtis Campher out of the game. He keeps adding value to this team. Flighted and full, around off, Henry Nicholls goes down on one knee and sweeps it through square leg. They complete a single and try for the second run. Campher attacks the ball in the deep and hits the bull's eye at the striker's end as Nicholls dives in. They appeal and the umpire goes upstairs. The Irish players are celebrating already. 27.2 OUT! CHOPS IT ON! The quickfire knock from Glenn Phillips comes to an end. Craig Young delivers it short and wide outside off, at 129.7 kph, Glenn Phillips stands tall inside the crease and tries to reach out for it. He attempts to slap it through the line but all he manages is a thick inside edge onto the stumps. Ireland are trying hard to stay in the hunt. Can they pick a few more wickets? 149/5
