14.5 OUT! Powell holes out. Length ball outside off, Powell looks to go downtown. Gets it off the bottom of the bat as his bat turns in his hand and the ball goes towards long off where Dhawan takes it with glee and does his trademark celebration. India will be pleased to see the back of Powell as he was looking dangerous. Partnership of 65 comes to an end. 84/2

| Chandrapaul Hemraj | 9 | 15 | 2 | 0 | 60 |
|
4.3 OUT! He's dragged it on. Chandrapaul Hemraj's ODI debut got off to a fine start, but it's ended rather abruptly. Back of a length around off, holds its line and Hemraj decides to take on the pull shot. He swivels, swings but gets a bottom edge which crashes back into the stumps. First breakthrough for India, a timely one for them too. The two openers were finding good rhythm. 19/1

| Shai Hope Wk | 32 | 51 | 2 | 0 | 62.74 |

21.4 OUT! Top edge and gone! Good short ball from Shami as he bangs this in on off. Hope is in no position to play the pull, he still goes for it and gets a big top edge which lobs on the leg side. Dhoni runs to it, gets under it and takes a simple catch. Both the set batsmen for the Windies are back in the dressing room. Two new men in the middle, will have to start from scratch. 114/4

| Marlon Samuels | 2 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |
|
15.3 OUT! One brings two. Samuels doesn't make it big on his 200th ODI. Chahal gives this air on middle and leg. Marlon gets his front foot forward looking to bunt it down but the ball goes on to hit his leg. The players appeal and the umpire raises his finger. Hope has a chat with Samuels but the umpire says that they have exceeded the 15 seconds. 2 wickets in 2 overs for India and they are back on top. 86/3

| Shimron Hetmyer | 106 | 78 | 6 | 6 | 135.89 |
|
38.4 OUT! Hetmyer is out of here! A fabulous innings comes to an end. Oh! He will be disappointed. Had a chance to make it even bigger today. Was striking the ball sweetly. He walks back dejected, his skipper pats him on the back, appreciating his effort. Jadeja gives this air on middle and leg, Shimron goes for the sweep but gets a top edge which flies to backward square leg. Pant settles under it and makes no mistake. The young batsman would have wanted to finish things off. 248/6

| Rovman Powell | 22 | 23 | 4 | 0 | 95.65 |
|
30.3 OUT! There is the wicket! Jadeja is all fired up. A needless shot from Powell though. Slider on middle, keeps going down with the angle as Rovman goes for the big swing. Misses it completely though. He looks back to see his leg pole gone. The 74-run stand is finally broken. 188/5

| Jason Holder C | 38 | 42 | 5 | 0 | 90.47 |
|
43.2 OUT! Exactly what the Windies didn't want. They've lost their skipper at the absolute wrong time. Looped up on middle and leg, it goes on straight as Holder gets low and across to sweep it down fine. But, much to his demise, he goes too far across and exposes his leg stump. The bails are disturbed and that's the end of him. 278/8

| Ashley Nurse | 2 | 2 | 0 | 0 | 100 |
|
39.3 OUT! Three reds! The original decision stands. Slider on middle, it goes on straight and Nurse does not read it. Gets caught in front of the stumps and the umpire raises his finger after the players put in an appeal. Nurse takes the review after having a chat with his partner and replay shows three reds. He is gone! 252/7

2 OUT! DRAGGED ON! First wicket down for India in the same manner as Windies lost theirs. Debutant Oshane Thomas gets his first wicket in ODI cricket and what a wicket too, of Shikhar Dhawan. Short and close to off, Dhawan rises to cut this away but gets a bottom edge back onto the stumps. The Zing bails light up and the dangerous southpaw has to make the long walk back. Windies make a great start in this second innings. 10/1

| Virat Kohli C | 140 | 107 | 21 | 2 | 130.84 |

33 OUT! Kohli has to go. A well played innings comes to an end. Bishoo gives this air outside off, Kohli comes forward to drive this but gets beaten by the turn. Hope behind the stumps takes off the bails and Kohli is walking. The umpire takes it up but Kohli knows he is out. Windies breaks the 246-run stand. But is it too late? India need more 67 runs from 17 overs. 256/2
