21.1 OUT! RUN OUT! Young Nuwanidu Fernando has just discovered how cruel the world can be! A terrible way to get out. Flighted delivery, full and on middle, Fernando uses his feet and flicks it towards mid-wicket. Shubman Gill manning that region puts in a dive to attempt for the catch but it falls just short. Nuwanidu Fernando has set off for a run and Charith Asalanka also takes a start but then waits for the fielder to complete his theatrics. He, then, realizes that Gill has stopped the ball and immediately tries to send his partner back. Meanwhile, Nuwanidu Fernando has reached a point of no return and is run out. 17 OUT! LBW! Kuldeep Yadav strikes in his first over and this is what he can do! A genuine wicket-taker and he has broken a very fruitful 73-run stand here for Sri Lanka! Yadav lands it just short of full length on middle at 87.1 kph. Mendis pushes forward to defend but it is a googly and turns away a hint to hit his back leg. Yadav appeals and the umpire raises his finger. However, Mendis decides to take the DRS. The replays roll in and the UltraEdge shows no bat here. 17.2 OUT! BOWLED! Dhananjaya de Silva departs for a golden duck!  Axar Patel now strikes with his second delivery and does the trick with an arm ball. He bowls it on middle at 88.3 kph and the ball comes in with the angle. Dhananjaya de Silva tries to drive it but misses as the ball brushes his pads and deflects onto the stumps. 24.2 OUT! CAUGHT AND BOWLED! Kuldeep Yadav is bowling like a man possessed and Sri Lanka are completely clueless about his magic. Yadav lets out a wrong 'un this time, landing full and drifting around middle. Charith Asalanka leans forward to flick it across the line but closes the face of his bat early. It turns in his hands also and the ball tamely pops out back to the bowler. Kuldeep Yadav accepts the return catch gleefully and now has three wickets in the game. 126/6

22.5 OUT! SOUND OF TIMBER! This is a huge blow to Sri Lanka. Kuldeep Yadav is sending a reminder that he is too good to be left out of the Playing XI. Smart bowling. Yadav sends it across a bit flatter through the air, around leg and on a fuller length, Dasun Shanaka goes down and across to sweep, he went a little too across, and then fails to connect with his attempted shot. The leg stump is disturbed and the crowd roars. Sri Lanka are on the mat now. This is on a shortish length and outside off, angling across the left-hander. Lahiru Kumara tries to drive it without much footwork and gets an inside edge. The ball brushes his pads and knocks over the stumps. This has been a poor batting effort from the Lankans and the Indian team along with its fans is a happy lot. 215/10

5 OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! A wicket against the run of play! Chamika Karunaratne, the street-fighter, strikes and gets the big fish, Rohit Sharma! On a good length and around off. Sharma tries to punch it towards the off side. However, he does so without much foot movement and gets a faint outside edge. Kusal Mendis behind the stumps makes no mistake and this is what Lanka needed. Can they pick up two-three quick wickets now to put pressure on India? 33/1

5.3 OUT! CAUGHT! The crowd has gone silent all of a sudden. Kumara hurls across a shortish ball on middle, at 142.1 kph, Shubman Gill gets back and tries to play his favourite half-pull. He fails to get it from the middle of his bat and the ball flies straight to Avishka Fernando at mid-wicket. He is the only fielder present there on the leg side and Gill is unfortunate to pick him.
