Serves it on a length, around middle, Hunt tries to whip it across the line but is early into the shot. It takes the top edge and flies towards point where Caleb Jewell grabs the catch this time. 19.3 OUT! CAUGHT! Another good catch in the deep and Chris Lynn departs after a wonderful knock. Mitchell Owen bowls this on a hard length and outside off. Lynn hangs back and looks to free his arms. Lynn tries to hammer it over the long off fence but mistimes it badly. Caleb Jewell rushes in from the deep and dives forward to take a solid catch. 174/5

12 OUT! BOWLED! Second wicket in the Power Surge and Hobart Hurricanes have owned it. Patrick Dooley delivers an arm ball, around off at 94.2 kph and gets it to skid on off the surface. Adam Hose stays leg-side to this delivery and tries to play straight. But he plays down the wrong line and misses a pretty straight one. 18.5 OUT! TAKEN! D'Arcy Short almost makes a mess of the catch but makes a brilliant recovery to hold onto it. Nathan Ellis looks for the wide yorker but misses his mark a bit. Colin de Grandhomme stays deep in his crease and hits it flat and hard over the cover region. De Grandhomme ends up hitting it straight to the man on the cover fence. The ball pops out of Short's hands and hits his lap before he manages to stick out his left hand and grab it. The Kiwi departs after a fiery cameo. 167/4

20 OUT! RUN OUT! Excellent finish from Mitchell Owen and Rashid Khan gets run out on the final delivery of the innings. Owen gets in the slower yorker outside off and Khan is undone completely as he leaves it alone thinking a wide would be called. Khan stays rooted to his spot but Thomas Kelly calls him for the bye. Matthew Wade throws the ball back to the bowler who hits the stumps at the non-striker's end and Khan is well short. So, it will also be a dot ball and Adelaide Strikers finish with 177/6! 177/6

12 OUT! TIMBER! Ben McDermott tries to get cheeky and ends up paying the ultimate price. This is full and straight from Wes Agar. McDermott walks right across his stumps and looks to scoop it over short fine leg. McDermott is unable to hold his shape and gets beaten for pace. 11 OUT! CAUGHT! One too many attempts at the reverse sweep from Matthew Wade and Rashid Khan does get the better of him. Just pulls back the length a bit and keeps it around off. Wade goes for the reverse sweep but ends up getting a top edge on it. The ball lobs up in front of cover-point and Adam Hose does well to react quickly and dive in front to grab the ball with both hands. Rashid gets a wicket and has a wink at Wade as well. 116/2
