McLaren driver Lewis Hamilton has claimed pole position for the Singapore Grand Prix, qualifying ahead of Williams' Pastor Maldonado on Saturday.
Hamilton gave McLaren its fourth consecutive pole position for the first time since 1999.
Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel, who was fastest in all three practice sessions, qualified third, ahead of McLaren's Jenson Button and championship leader Fernando Alonso of Ferrari.
Red Bull's Mark Webber qualified seventh, while Lotus driver Kimi Raikkonen, who is third in the championship standings, qualified in 12th position.
