Virat Kohli Should be Allowed to Bat at No. 3: Sunil Gavaskar

Former Indian opener Sunil Gavaskar is of the opinion that Virat Kohli's position in ODIs should remain at number three. He praised Kohli for the way he batted to score 138 against South Africa to help India level the five-match series in Chennai. Gavaskar credited Kohli on his game and also said that Ajinkya Rahane and Suresh Raina's support helped him stay out in the middle. The 66-year-old said Harbhajan Singh bowled well and used his experience to great effect. He also added that spinners are India's strength and that should be exploited during the Tests.
