The devastating earthquake in Nepal recently has left the country's cricket infrastructure in a limbo. With World T20 qualifier scheduled for July, the T20 probables will now reportedly train in Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association's stadium in Dharamsala.
According to ESPNcricinfo, a 22-member team will take part in a 15-day camp at the scenic stadium. This after BCCI secretary Anurag Thakur had previously promised to extend every possible help to Nepal after a series of earthquakes and aftershocks jolted the Himalayan country, claiming more than 8000 lives.
Trying to return to a sense of normalcy, Nepal cricket is focusing on the big task at hand. The World T20 qualifier will be played in Ireland and Scotland between July 9 and 26.
Dharamsala was chosen as a venue for training as it is the closest to the conditions in those venues.
