Both sides will be looking to post their first win on the board in the inaugural edition of the Indian Badminton League. Where Awadhe Warriors lost to Hyderabad 2-3 in the opening match, while, Bangalore-based Banga Beats lost to Mumbai Masters with the same margin.

Sunday will see two iconic players PV Sindhu (Awadhe Warriors) and Parupalli Kashyap (Banga Beats) in action in the women's and men's singles event, respectively.

Banga Beats coach Vimal Kumar on Saturday exuded confidence his wards would come good against Awadhe Warriors on Sunday.

Kumar said his team was tired because of the travelling but they are rejuvenated now and are gearing up for their clash against the local team.

"We have learnt from our mistakes that we made in our last game and of course continuous traveling also played a major role in game against Mumbai Masters. But now our team got enough time to rest and practice and we are confident that team will give its best against Awadhe Warriors," Kumar said. (Read more)
