2.5 OUT! TAKEN! Richard Gleeson strikes in his very first over and sends the debutant back to the hut. He follows the batter and bowls this short of a length and on leg, Mohammad Haris moves across to cut it over short third man, but it is too close to his body and the ball loops up off the top half of the bat towards short third man where Adil Rashid takes a comfortable catch. Haris goes for a cheap score on his debut and Pakistan lose their first. 14/1

8.4 OUT! CAUGHT! Haider Ali showed us glimpses of what is capable of but has departed cheaply here! | Iftikhar Ahmed | 31 | 21 | 2 | 2 | 147.61 |

14.3 OUT! TAKEN! Sam Curran gets his second wicket and sends the dangerous looking Iftikhar Ahmed back to the hut. Sam Curran pulls his length back a bit and bowls a slower delivery again, on middle, Iftikhar Ahmed tries to take him on and goes for the big shot, but he mistimes it in the air badly and towards long on where Harry Brook takes a good catch. The intent from him was good but the execution part was missing. He has done his job though and put his side in a strong position to take it from here. 110/4

| Asif Ali | 9 | 9 | 1 | 0 | 100 |

17 OUT! CAUGHT! The short ball ploy finally pays off! David Willey bowls this really short and way outside the off pole, Asif Ali reaches for it and looks to slap this over the off side boundary. He does not get a good connection on the ball and it flies into the massive palms of Reece Topley at deep point. Asif Ali is unable to help Pakistan end strong as he has to make his way back to the pavillion. Pakistan have lost their fifth wicket now. 136/5
