4.1 OUT! One down! Tamim is trapped in front of the stumps! Boult troubled Tamim twice with the first ball of his every over and this time he has managed to remove him with his first ball of a fresh over. Not a lot of movement on this delivery, it's more about the angle of the bowler taking it into the batsman. It's full and around off, skidding in, Tamim falls over a bit too much as he tries to lean across to play the flick shot. Misses the delivery completely and gets rapped on the pads. They appeal and the finger goes up immediately. No need to even think about the DRS. Iqbal is off straightaway. 19/1

13.2 OUT! CAUGHT AT MID ON! Das knew as soon as he hit that and he walks off. Neesham strikes immediately in his first over. Das who was playing so well has to depart. Bangladesh tottering at the moment. Neesham comes up with a cross-seam delivery, banging it in and getting it to sit up to the batsman. Das stands back to work it around but the bounce gets big on him and he fails to close the face of the bat properly. It pops out towards mid on where Boult takes a simple catch. Bangladesh desperately need a big partnership now. 42/3

| Soumya Sarkar | 3 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |

4.4 OUT! Abysmal execution from Soumya Sarkar and he is dismissed for a 3-ball duck. Boult is a clever bowler. He doesn't want the batsman to get used to one length so mixes it. Trent goes short but keeps it close to the off stump line, not enough space to play the square cut or the upper cut. Sarkar although senses an opportunity to open his account by whacking it over backward point. However, the bounce gets big on him and he is cramped for room as well. Ends up chipping it in the air towards cover-point where Conway takes his first ODI catch. To be honest, even though Sarkar would have connected, third man would have been in business. 19/2

21.1 OUT! CAUGHT! Neesham has a happy knack of picking wickets. Extra bounce brings Rahim's downfall. It's a touch short but too close to off, Rahim attempts to cut but forgets that he has to play it down with gully present. Fails to do so and it flies to Guptill who jumps and catches it with ease. The shot, to be honest, was never on. Too close to fancy that on a wicket with plenty of extra bounce. A disappointed Rahim departs. The 27-run stand off 49 balls is over. 69/4

23.2 OUT! RUN OUT! That is the most unfortunate way to get out! New Zealand will take it but Mithun will feel really hard done by. It was a lovely shot from Mahmudullah but Neesham did really well to get a hand to it. A full ball on middle, Mahmudullah drives it straight back. Neesham gets down and it clips the ring finger of his right hand before going on to disturb the stumps at the other end. Mithun is outside the crease at that point. The bowler is more concerned about his finger than appealing but it's too obvious and an embarrassed Mithun takes a sad walk to the pavilion. Unlucky? Slightly. One can ask, why was he backing up so much... Five down for Bangladesh! 72/5

40.1 OUT! What a catch! The timing of the jump was the key, a stunning effort by Mitchell Santner. Henry begins his new spell with a short delivery around off, Mahmudullah eyes the empty space behind the mid-wicket fielder and hence he chooses to pull it across the line. He connects decently but it lacks the desired elevation to beat the jump of the in-ring fielder. Fantastically done and it's a body blow to Bangladesh. Their last recognized batsman is back in the hut. 125/8

27.2 OUT! TIMBER! An 86 kph arm ball, flatter and around middle and leg, skidding off the surface, Mehidy gets too far across the stumps as he tries to flick. Misses and it tickles the leg stump. Hasan cannot believe it, he is completely shocked, he is like he has seen a ghost. The Kiwis are celebrating and Bangladesh are staring down the barrel, 6 down with not even 100 on the scoreboard. 78/6

31.2 OUT! CAUGHT! That is a brilliant catch from Henry Nicholls and Santner wins the battle between him and Mahedi Hasan! Mahedi had come out to attack the spinner but perishes and Bangladesh lose their 7th. Santner bowls it short, after seeing that Mahedi Hasan jumped out of the crease. Mahedi looks to pull but it takes the top edge and goes over mid on. Nicholls backtracks and completes a good catch with a tumble. Bangladesh's innings continue to nosedive. 98/7

41.5 OUT! CAUGHT AT MID ON! Boult has 4 and that is the end of the innings! What a bowling performance. Slower ball on middle, Taskin Ahmed looks to go work it on the leg side but does not get the timing right. It goes towards Santner at mid on off the leading edge who takes the simplest of catches. BANGLADESH BOWLED OUT FOR 131. 131/10

41.3 OUT! TIMBER! That is what every fast bowler likes to see! Trent Boult proves too good for the number 10 batsman. Hasan Mahmud had no answer to that one. Full ball landing on middle, the seam is pointing towards the slip cordon and hence it moves away in that direction after landing, Mahmud tries to get forward and defend but it beats the outside edge and hits the top of off stump. A sight to love! 130/9

5.3 OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! Guptill has to go as there is a spike as the ball passed the bat. End of a terrific little inning from Guptill. He kept all of us entertained during his stay. Good length ball outside off, Guptill dances down the track and then looks to go big across the line but it seems to have taken the outside edge back to Rahim. An appeal is made and the finger has gone up. Guptill is not sure if he has hit that and consults Nicholls whether to take the review. He takes it in the end. The Ultra Edge rolls in and it shows that there is a spike. New Zealand lose a review. 54/1

20 OUT! CAUGHT! Where has that come from? Conway has given his wicket here! Good length ball on middle, Conway uses his feet and then looks to swing it to the leg side. It takes the inner half of the bat and flies towards deep square leg where Mahmudullah runs ahead and takes the catch. Too little, too late for Bangladesh. 119/2
